This EP has four original Billyana songs in the genre of contemporary folk rock if there is such a thing!

It has been a while since my last release - I have selected the following songs as a reflection of global tides that can push, pull and challenge - and as the first song says, 'happiness is something to be worked on everyday!'

LATE SHIFT EP themes include:

LATE SHIFT - for shift workers who keep the billionaires satisfied,
DANCE WITH YOU - how we can learn from and share with first nations people, despite some divisive narratives around the Uluru Statement from the Heart
UNDER THE RADAR - the global shift to the reckless right and the plight of people living 'under the radar' in oppressive regimes.
BEST SONG is an expression of high impact music, music of cultures, nature and the cosmos, that cannot be understood just by the language we happen to speak.

All four songs on this album are written, arranged and performed by Bill Tatnell (Billyana) on a range of instruments, including electric, handmade guitars in different tunings, mouth-organ and keyboards.

These songs were recorded in my home studio, with final mixes by Terry Latham at Impromptu Studios, Newcastle.
